Earth Pak makes a quality
"Earth Pak makes a quality product that does what it claims to do. They are a great value for the money!"
In order to use your dry bag properly, here are a few steps!
Yes! Our dry bags are meant to float and stay atop of water so you'll never lose sight of your gear during kayak flips, etc. When you roll the top of your dry bag down, there should be a little bit of air in it giving it a "inflated" type of feel so it will always float to the surface if lost.
However, because our dry bags are meant to float, they are not fully submersible and should never be submerged underwater for longer than 5-10 seconds.
No, the outside zippered pocket is not waterproof, only splash-proof. For items you do not want to get wet, be sure to put them inside the dry bag, not in the outside zippered pocket.
Do not put any electronics in the outside zippered pocket. This additional storage is only meant to store for easy grab and go items that are okay to get wet, such as non-electronic keys, sunglasses, cards, etc. We also include a card with every order that reminds you not to store electronics in the outside zippered pocket.
All of our dry bags are ranked at an IPX-6, being that our dry bags are protected against high pressure water streams from any angle.

"Nicely made dry bag. Well worth the purchase."
"Great overall products."
"Great bag for shopping on the bike with. Large opening easy to seal. Feels good on the back with load. Nothing fancy, but works."
"Very solid made packs! Cant wait to try them out in the weather"
"Did a great job keeping gear dry, easy to clean. Bought the 50L one, probably gonna get the 35 L one next."
"Shipped very quickly. Have owned it long enough for a review, but this is the second one I have purchased and the first, which I have owned for several years, is great and the reason I ordered a second."
"The bag is pretty well made and big, material on the thin side so go easy in it if you wish it to last."
"Works good took it on couple trips everything stayed dry!"
"I've used the 85 liter bag twice now on long weekend canoe camping trips and really like it. I fit a 2 man tent, 3 season sleeping bag and camp pillow, wool blanket, air mattress, emergency tarp and several small extra items that didn't fit in other bags. Without those extra items, a second sleeping bag and mattress fit. The roll closure is secure and I like the extra security strap that goes over that roll. The shoulder straps and back pad are firmly attached and comfortable when carrying a full load. No long portages on these 2 trips but I'm sure the comfort would carry over. I don't mind the little extra weight the pvc adds especially for the very reasonable price. The small accessory pockets and MOLLE straps I didn't use, those could probably be left out as when the bag is full they"re too tight to be used unless utilized prior to filling. I'd recommend this bag for the quality and the "Made in the USA" label. I hope a 100+ liter bag is made as I would grab one of those. Thanks for a great product!"
